What is SS304?
SS304 is the most widely used stainless steel grade globally, belonging to the 300 series austenitic family. It contains 18-20% chromium and 8-10.5% nickel, providing excellent corrosion resistance, formability and weldability. SS304 is the industry standard for chemical equipment, food processing machinery, pharmaceutical vessels, and general engineering applications. Its balanced composition makes it resistant to most oxidising acids, organic acids, and mild chloride environments. Navkardeep Steel manufactures SS304 products at our integrated plant in Vijapur, Mehsana, Gujarat. With in-house SPECTRO analysis for every heat, we ensure precise chemistry conforming to ASTM A276 and IS 6911 standards. SS304 is our most manufactured grade across all product categories.
